About
I hold a degree in Graphic Design and graduated with Honours from University of Newcastle, Australia and have been teaching there for 11 years. My area of expertise is in drawing, having been a freelance designer/illustrator for many years while teaching drawing to 1st year design students. I am interested in practice-based research and I am currently completing a MPhil in Design. The research area is drawing for design, the cognitive process of a designer, and emotional responses of the public towards drawing.
I am very keen in expanding the research area to include art therapy and the possibility of collaboration with health organisations in the development of a drawing program for rehabilitation patients.
